The Kasur City Website www.MyKasurCity.blogspot.com ( www.KasurCity.tk ) has been established with the aim to develop the electronic citizenship and to highlight the information of Kasur not only within Pakistan but also at International level.
Through the Site we highlights the places to see that are Internationally Recognized like Shrine of Baba Bulleh Shah (followers of all religions respect him),Shrine Hazrat Kamal Chisti, Famous Changa Manga Forest Park, Balloki Headworks, Ganda Singh Border(JCP) etc to enhance the Tourism.
Kasur born citizens are staying all over the world and working also on most importance positions.
We are trying to makeing a network of all of them with the aim that they should contribute for the development of their born-place, so the Kasur should be known at world level as the best district and City of Pakistan.
Our youth is waiting for the jobs but they have no jobs. We will put the data of all the unemployed youth and same time will request the industrialists to found suitable persons out of them. We will put advertisements of the jobs available at International and National level with the guidance, so maximum youth should get the jobs. Crimes are increasing in the district rapidly, may be due to unemployment.
Literacy rate of Kasur district is ranking at 25th number out of 34 districts of Punjab and we want to raise not only the literacy rate but also the standard of education. Our students also deserve the quality education, so they should play an active role in our society, so we will approach the international and national community for trainings of our teaching staff and to provide the latest computer labs, science labs, libraries, internet facilities and much more important is the transportation facilities to our teaching staff, so they can easily go to their schools.
Our local NGOs are working hard. We will create a data bank of them and will share their efforts to the international community; we will update them about the international donors’ community and will inform them for national and international level training opportunities for their staff.
We will arrange at least annual get together for the Kasur born citizens staying at Islamabad, Rawalpindi and its neighbor towns under the plate form of kasurclub with the aim that they can assemble in case of any emergency. For this purpose, we will also create a data back with full details (that they want to share among others).
Kasur district has played an important role in the national politics. Our two important personalities Mian Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri and Sardar Asif Ahmed Ali. worked as Foreign Ministers of Pakistan. Mr Mueen Qureshi, former care taker Prime Minister also born at Kasur district. 15th Chief Minister of Punjab, Late Sardar Arif Nakai was also from Kasur district. Several ladies of kasur district have been recognised at international level one of them is Dr Salma Rashid. Surely in future Kasur district will play much more important role and our district should get its proper share at national level that should also transfer to the citizens.
In the near past, industrial zone Chunian had been established and several new industries were installed like Nishat Chunian. Pattoki Sugar Mill is an asset of the district.New industries like Packages Limited are being installed near Chah Arur Singh (Kasur) and a lot of citizens will get jobs. Lahore Dry Port is being shifted in Kasur District at Prame Nagar (near Kot Radha Kishen) and surely it will boost the area development. Kot Radha Kishen Railway Station is being upgraded by Packages Limited on BOT basis, for transportation of their products in Pakistan that surely will also be benefited to our area.
Pattoki, known for growing flowers has one of the biggest clusters of flower, fruit and decorative plant nurseries in the country is also an asset of our district.
Several times people wrote the name of the District Kasoor, Qasoor or Qasur, that all are the same sounds in Urdu.
Are we ready to face the challenges of global world? Will our youth be able to face the challenges at national and international level? What role you have to play for the development of our area? How can we reduce the poverty level in our villages? How can we provide the quality education? How is possible to provide them good health?
Lets share among each other and it is really time to take action. Lets unite with the aim that Kasur will be a model district and City of Pakistan. The day is not too far but we need to unite and work hard!
