Husband and wife killed in Kasur on Youm e Ashur 10th Muharam KASUR: A couple was burnt alive in a brick kiln in the outskirts of Kasure, Geo News reported. Sources said the incident took place in Kot Radha Kishan district Kasur. Police sources said Shahzad and her wife Shama Bibi came to Chak 59 for their livelihood where the owner of the Kiln Yousuf Gujjar put them in a room. He put different allegation on them over non-payment of advance money and gathered villagers. Later, the infuriated villagers through them in the brick kiln and set them alive. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of the incident and constituted three-member committee to find the facts. Additional IG Investigation Punjab and Secretary Minorities are included in the probe team.

KASUR: Five armed robbers were killed during a police encounter that took place in Kasur, Geo News reported on Saturday. According to police, five dacoits dressed up in police uniform entered a trader’s house in Sher Rabbani Colony in Kasur. Fortunately, the neighbours suspected the men and called the police. Police acted on time and reached the spot where they were ambushed by the culprits. They opened fire on the security personnel and during the retaliatory firing, five dacoits were killed. Police shifted the bodies to district headquarter hospital while investigation was launched.

Indians arrested in Kasur In Feb-2014, Intelligence agencies have arrested three alleged Indian secret agents from Kasur, Geo News reported. According to intelligence sources, Indian passport, currency and arms were recovered from the agents, identified as Kashif, Umair and Shahzad. The intelligence officials have also seized photos of the cantonments and the troops deployed at the boarder from the possession of the Indian agents. He was crossing a road when a speeding car crushed him to death. BUS LOOTED:  Four dacoits looted a bus at Changa Manga on Friday. A bus was carrying passengers to Chunian from Lahore when four dacoits intercepted the vehicle and looted cash, mobiles and jewellery from the passengers. Later, the dacoits snatched cash and mobiles from various passers-by including Ali and Hussain Din in the same area. Meanwhile, two dacoits looted cash and mobiles from Majid Ali at Khara Mor.
