KASUR: Five armed robbers were killed during a police encounter that took place in Kasur, Geo News reported on Saturday.
According to police, five dacoits dressed up in police uniform entered a trader’s house in Sher Rabbani Colony in Kasur. Fortunately, the neighbours suspected the men and called the police.
Police acted on time and reached the spot where they were ambushed by the culprits. They opened fire on the security personnel and during the retaliatory firing, five dacoits were killed.
Police shifted the bodies to district headquarter hospital while investigation was launched.
