Established by Govt of Punjab with the goal of advancing buffalo development through innovative research-based applications, the Buffalo Research Institute (BRI) Pattoki has made significant progress since October 2005.

About Buffalo Research Institute Pattoki :
Exclusively dedicated to research-based buffalo development, BRI Pattoki has state-of-the-art infrastructure in various fields including breeding, genetics, calf rearing, buffalo diseases, nutrition and health programs. The Institute collaborates closely with veterinary and animal science universities, research institutes, the Remount Veterinary and Farms Corps (RVFC), the Livestock and Dairy Development Board, and seeks partnership with Buffalo development organizations and the Buffalo Breeders Association.
