Total of 22 candidates contested the general election 2024 from Constituency NA-132 Kasur. 16 of these candidates were independent while the rest belonged to other parties.
In this election, Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif was elected as MNA on PMLN ticket by getting 137231 votes against his opponent Sardar Muhammad Hussain Dogar who had participated in the election as an independent candidate (Election symbol Wickets) on PTI ticket. He lost the election with a difference of almost 26000 votes.
