Introduction:
Chaudhry Manzoor Ahmed is a well known politician from Kasur, born on March 4, 1960 in village Maan near Kasur City, has been elected for his first term as MNA in general elections 2002. Ch Manzoor is politically affiliated with PPPP. He is a lawyer by profession, he completed a joint B.A /LLB degree from University of the Punjab. He served as Secretary General district Bar Kasur. He is Married and father of two sons and one daughter.
After winning the elections in 2002, he became very popular among the people of Kasur district. The ideological (نظریاتی ووٹ) vote bank of Pakistan People's Party is not high in Kasur district. Chaudhry Manzoor Ahmed won the election mostly with his personal vote bank. He also did a lot of development work in Kasur district.
Political Career :
Ch Manzoor PPP elected as member of National assembly (MNA) in 2002 elections from NA-139 Kasur-II on the ticket of "Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians" (PPP).
He has also been the Information Secretary of Pakistan Peoples Party Punjab Province. He is a part of the central body of Pakistan Peoples Party Punjab.
